WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE MISSED:

* Mississippi Democratic Rep. Gene Taylor told a reporter that in 2008, he voted for Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), not President Obama, the latest example of an endangered Democrat distancing himself from party leaders.

* Sen. Michael Bennet (D-Colo.) loaned his campaign another $500,000 last week as polls show him in a dead heat with Weld County District Attorney Ken Buck (R). Meanwhile, Illinois gubernatorial candidate Scott Lee Cohen (I) has loaned his campaign a total of $3.7 million to date.

* A new Ward Research poll shows former Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D) taking 51 percent to Lt. Gov. Duke Aiona's (R) 43 percent in the Hawaii gubernatorial race. In the 1st District race, Rep. Charles Djou (R) is taking 48 percent to state Senate President Colleen Hanabusa's (D) 46 percent.

* The National Republican Senatorial Committee has placed a $3 million TV ad buy in California this week, bringing its total spent on the race to nearly $8 million. Meanwhile, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is spending coordinated funds on the race.

* A new survey by GOP pollster Wilson Research Strategies shows former Rep. Rob Portman (R) leading Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher (D) 49 percent to 38 percent in the Ohio Senate race.

WHAT YOU SHOULDN'T MISS:

* Need to cram for the midterms? Join The Fix, ABC News political director Amy Walter and Rothenberg Political Report editor Stu Rothenberg for our "Midterm Rap Session" at 12 p.m. this Wednesday at Capitol Lounge! Tune into The Fix for live-streaming coverage, or RSVP here to join us in person.

* If it's a day that ends in "y," it's time for more debates! Tonight's marquee showdown is the final Kentucky Senate debate, which will be carried live on C-SPAN at 8 p.m. Eastern. Gubernatorial hopefuls in Florida and Massachusetts will also be facing off. For all the latest, make sure to check The Fix's 2010 Debate Guide.

* One-third of likely voters remain undecided or may change their minds ahead of Election Day, according to a new AP-GfK poll.

* Rep. Tom Perriello's (D-Va.) latest TV ad questions state Sen. Robert Hurt's (R) conservative cred -- and tries to drive up the name ID of independent candidate Jeff Clark. Could this ad be just what Perriello needs?

* Quinnipiac releases its latest polls on Connecticut's Senate and gubernatorial races tomorrow morning. With Michael Benoit, the father of the late professional wrestler Chris Benoit, now campaigning against former World Wrestling Entertainment CEO Linda McMahon (R), the new survey will give further clues as to whether voters view McMahon's tenure at WWE as a liability or not.

Nothing else to talk about.
